Our New Teacher Profile Process

We know you want to get straight to doing what you do best: teaching. That’s why we’ve completely redesigned our tutor onboarding to be as quick and painless as possible.

You can now create your profile and become bookable in just 3 easy inputs, without digging around for bank details or passports on day one.

How it works:

• Step 1: Create your profile Fill out the basics to get started. You don't need to enter any payment info just yet to set up your profile.

• Step 2: Connect your payment setup Once your profile is submitted, a quick popup will guide you to link your account to Ryft, our secure payment partner. Your profile will go live as soon as this quick check is complete.

• Step 3: Teach and get paid You are now officially live and ready for bookings!

What is Ryft and why do we use them?

Ryft is a highly secure, FCA-regulated payment platform built specifically for marketplaces. We use them to ensure your transactions are safe, encrypted, and that your earnings are processed smoothly directly to you. Think of it as a secure bridge between our platform and your bank account.

What about documents and bank details?

We won’t bug you for these until there is the need for them:

• Bank Details: We'll only ask for these once you have a booking or pending earnings.

• ID & Documents: Document verification is triggered automatically later on, once you approach the earnings threshold.

Prefer to get it out of the way? If you’d rather have a fully verified account from day one, you don't have to wait! You have the flexibility to upload your ID and documents sooner through your Ryft profile settings whenever it suits you.
